MEXICO, Isla Aguada -Lagune Terminos, Vogelparadies

Die Laguna de Términos ist eine der größten Lagunen in Mexiko. Sie umfasst eine Fläche von rund 2.500 km² mit einer maximalen Länge von 75 km in Ost-West-Richtung und eine maximale Breite in Nord-Süd-Richtung von 35 km. Die durchschnittliche Tiefe beträgt 3,5 Meter, die maximale Tiefe 4,7 Meter.

Die Lagune ist abgetrennt vom Golf von Mexiko durch die Isla del Carmen und nordöstlich davon durch Isla Aguada. Isla del Carmen ist eine 35 km lange und maximal 2,5 km breite Insel, auf der die Stadt Ciudad del Carmen liegt und die über die Brücken Puente Zacatal im Westen mit dem Festland und Puente de la Unidad im Osten mit Isla Aguada, dem westlichsten Ausläufer der Halbinsel Península El Palmar verbunden ist.

This ex-Royal Moroccan Air Force C-47 was one of a pair which stopped at LTN during their ferry flight to the USA.

20.04.19 - Borders Buses have introduced 3 brand new Enviro400's onto the X62 linking Melrose with Galashiels, Penicuik and Edinburgh. They feature space to carry up to 4 bicycles in a bid to try and encourage bus usage as the route passes near Glentress which is popular with keen cyclists.

This bus was new to Borders Buses as 11903 in 2019.

Borders Buses 11903 (SK19 ELX) is an April 2019 registered AD Enviro400 MMC new to the fleet. It is one of three purchased for service X62 (Edinburgh-Melrose) which have the ability to carry bicycles.

Heading into Edinburgh on North Bridge is one of three new Bike enabled Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC recently introduced by Borders Buses. Arriving from Melrose is 11903 - SK19ELX.

With the screen already changed for the journey back to the Borders, fleet number 11903 was seen on York Place on the approach to Edinburgh Bus Station. New in 2019, the vehicle is working the X62 from Galashiels via Innerleithen, Peebles and Penicuik. The city centre West East cycleway is being completed on the right.

SK19 ELX is an AD E40D/AD Enviro400 MMC new to Borders Buses in April 2019 as their number 11903.

It is seen here in Edinburgh on service X62 to Galashiels.

Seen on Princes Street is one of three new bike-carrying Alexander Dennis Enviro 400MMC bodied Dennis Tridents in the fleet of Borders Buses.
