it's windy outside
over the past one hundred and nineteen days i've met some of the most absolutely incredible people who i can talk to endlessly. it's so amazing, it really is.

We adopted her recently from a friend who could no longer take care of her. She's 18 and almost blind, but she still acts like a kitten.

I cleaned the entire camper today. It will be my home for fair week.
Today's random fact: When we first bought our house. Our entire family (6 people) had to live in this tiny camper, for a couple of months, while we fixed the house. It was tight.
Feeling frustrated with my camera and/or lens today. Since I've had it I've felt like I can't get sharp photos most of the time. I've always attributed that to me as I tend to want to shoot pretty wide open but I also am shaky and this camera is heavy. I've been contemplating trading it in but honestly I'm not sure what I'd get. I think I'd like a full frame for their low light capabilities and lots of focus points but they are expensive and this is just a hobby, but I also like to get close so a crop sensor would help with that. Really though, the thought of doing this scares me because what if I'm the problem, a new camera and lens won't solve anything.

Mon voyage autour du soleil s’est arrêté à 119 jours.
Pour différentes excuses
Mais
Surtout parce que je l’ai décidé.
Quelqu’un m’a dit de me mettre face à ça en l’écrivant.
Je le fais.
Et oui, il n’est plus temps d’espérer rattraper les jours
Il est maintenant temps d’avancer vers d’autres voyages
En n’effaçant pas celui-ci
En prenant tout ce qu’il m’a apporté
Comme fermer une porte
Pour en ouvrir d’autres
Comme être encore toutes ces images à la fois
Et en être bien d’autres encore
Car les images que l’on se fait
Que l’on veut voir
Que l’on veut avoir
Que l’on veut donner
Que l’on veut représenter
Ne sont
Comme on m’a dit
Qu’une partie émergée d’un iceberg
Pour la « vraie » image
Peu osent s’approcher
D’assez près
Assez longtemps
En tenant bon
Car
Le trop de façades
Le trop de peurs
Le trop de silence
Le trop de mur
Peut l’estomper ou la déformer
Ou en rendre son chemin chaotique
Ou encore la tenir enfermée quelque part.
Il peut exister des moments
Ou tout ces trop sont balayés
En prenant du temps,
En étant patient,
En étant juste là,
En étant ouvert,
En posant des questions,
Alors
Cette image peut être libérée
Refléter le plus profond,
Et toucher au cœur.
Comme cela
La forme de ce monde change
Et on découvre que
Chaque personne est une combinaison unique,
Chaque personne est,
Chaque personne peut cacher des trésors
Et
notre propre image s'enrichit
Ce voyage est finit
Mais
cela n’empêche pas
la terre de continuer à tourner
autour du soleil.
