SN17MUO is an ADL Enviro E20D B39F new as Borders Buses number 11713 in March 2017. It was subsequently transferred to Glasgow Citybus, and has received a repaint although no fleet names have yet been applied.
This beautifully restored 1931 Chevrolet Sport Coupe was manufactured in Detroit, Michigan. Sold new to the Laidlaw/Park family in Homewood, Pennsylvania it moved with them after the war to Hanover, Ontario, Canada. It was not licensed after 1958 and remained with the original owners family till 1964.
Purchased by its second owner with only 29011 miles showing it moved to Stratford, Ontario, Canada. There it was treated over the next few years to a loving restoration. An exterior only refinish in Boulevard Maroon with Black Fenders and Gold Pinstripes was applied. After 23 years it was sold to a third owner whom after a short time sold it at a Fall meet in Hershey, PA.
The second owner would love to know where it is today. We offer this information to help identify it. The serial number is 12AE 11713. The original light Brown Mohair interior, floor mats and the original paint inside the doors etc. were all preserved during its make over. The vehicle had an optional radiator stone guard and Eagle rad cap from new. The twin side mounts with mirrors, the wind wings, the proper trunk rack and an appropriate trunk, and a optional right side taillight were items added during its restoration.

Well I can tell from the decidedly lacklustre reception to the last Sheffield upload that you’re all pretty sick of seeing pictures from there, but don’t worry because I’ve only got three or four sets of photos left from the day. After that it’ll just be a few B9TL or Stagecoach photos tagged onto the tail end of more Nottingham-focused uploads.
Putting First’s Streetlites, Streetdecks and Geminis on hold for now, this time around it is an all-Stagecoach affair. For some reason as I’ve whittled the number of photos down with each upload, I’ve got more Stagecoach ones left over (despite having fewer to begin with), and I think it must be because they have a more boring and samey fleet so I’ve been selecting all the more interesting First bus pics instead!
Nothing says boring and samey like a YX73 Enviro 400 MMC on the 120, which I lost count of how many I saw over the day. However, as much as I complain about their ubiquity and how I don’t particularly like Local livery, they are rather photogenic machines and far worse looking buses exist!

We're shooting in my car, Erin is laughing while I try to line up a shot and the light shifts on her like I've never seen in my life. The storm that stole the outdoors from us just leaves, and the sunset and blue sky come out like I called for them.
This, of course, demanded that we get out of the car and utilize the last Polaroid I have to put the sunset over Erin's shoulder and take a shot we both love.
I couldn't ask for a better ending to a shoot.

i have just returned from 3 hours at my physician's office where i received 3 liters of IV fluids, so apparently i am dehydrated no more. this has been a much slower road to recovery than i had anticipated. getting old ain't for sissies ;-)

The sun is setting on 15 years of living in the same home. It is bittersweet to move on as we have many found memories, lived in a great neighbourhood and made many friends. Our home was beautiful, one of those that was love at first site. While we have found our dream home, it is with sadness that we leave this one. This was the night of last sleep.
