The last remaining Chicago Great Western cab unit, FP7 #116A, rests alongside an SW1 in Oelwein, IA.
So I was in a mood to make a run today. Started in Waterloo then Oelwein, then Waterloo, then Ackley.
After not seeing much unusual in Bryant I got a hair that it was time for an Oelwein run.
Canadair CF-5A/CF-116A at the Cold Lake Museums, situated at the site of the former radar station. There is a moveable plate with 'S/N 1053' on it, hence the serial 116753 is assumed.

This is an Ottoman illuminated and illustrated Turkish version of ʿAjāʾib al-makhlūqāt (Wonders of creation) by Zakarīyā al-Qazwīnī (d. 692 AH / 1293 CE), made at the request of the Vizier Murtaza Paşa (Murtaḍá Pāshā) (fl. eleventh century AH / seventeenth CE). The codex was completed in 1121 AH / 1717 CE by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Shākir Rūzmah-ʾi Nāthānī. There are 444 paintings illustrating the text. The binding is not original to the manuscript.

This is an illuminated and illustrated copy of the famous story of Joseph and the Potiphar's wife (Yūsuf va Zulaykhā) by Jāmī (d. 898 AH / 1492 CE). The manuscript was written in India in the late twelfth century AH / eighteenth CE in black nastaʿlīq script. There are forty-seven paintings illustrating the text. The lacquer binding with floral decoration is attributable to the thirteenth century AH / nineteenth CE.
