Nach langer Pause gibt es mal wieder ein Bild. Dieses mal etwas aus dem schönen Fuldatal. Dieses Motiv habe ich schon länger im Blick. Der fotogene Außenbogen bei Mecklar stand mit Hochstativ schon länger auf meiner Liste. Im Frühjahr letzten Jahres konnte ich bereits den Warsteiner Bierzug mit der WLE 189 dort aufnehmen, jedoch fehlte mir noch ein Bild an der Stelle von einer Frankfurter 114, da sich auch die Zeit dieser Maschinen langsam dem Ende neigt. Im Winter und im Frühjahr eignen sich hierzu die RE 5 Leistungen von Frankfurt (Main) Hbf nach Bebra. Nach mehreren Versuchen, welche durch schlechtes Wetter oder 146er vereitelt wurden, hat es letztes Wochenende endlich geklappt. Nach dem bereits ein Bild am Vormittag geklappt hatte und ebenfalls einige andere Highlights vor die Linse fuhren hieß es zum Tages Abschluss 114er Zeit.
Gegen 17:00 durchfuhr 114 022 mit dem RE 4596 den kleinen Ort Mecklar in Richtung Süden, bevor sie in kürze ihren nächsten Halt Bad Hersfeld erreichen wird.

The view from Stanley Park of Vancouver. This was my first visit to this beautiful city and despite the crazy weather, including soaking downpours, crazy hail storms and the occasional peak of sunshine, I can't wait to come back and see more of it.
