Lincoln Center, New York.
Paying tribute to the founders of the Center I would sympathize its architects because of rapid speed with which, a linear architecture is outdated, has been recently such a harmonious, now , it is looking too modest..
I'm grateful to all of you for the comments. Happy New Year!

ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower, London. Part sculpture, part fairground ride, part Boris vanity project, the orbit tower at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park continues to divide opinion. Opened in 2012 and designed by Anish Kapoor & Cecil Balmond, the tower cost £22.7million to build, and lost £500k over 2019 (£10,000 per week), and is unlikely ever to recoup its costs.

A shot from my Benelux tour of 1989.
The main subject is Dutch Railways loco 1138, one of 60 French built machines delivered during the 1950s.
In later life they were modified with the snout that set them apart from similar machines which served on the French network, The class were withdrawn during the 1990s and five are now in preservation.
I have the train recorded as the 17.14 Amsterdam to Vienna, but there would be a loco change on the Dutch border.
