420 362-4 (11362 - SBB) heads through Pratteln and on towards Basel with with a rake of VTG Zans tanks with hazard code 30 1863 and VTG Zans with hazard code 30 1202, which I see SBB haul regularly between Gelsenkirchen Bismarck (1202), Holthausen (1863) and Basel Muttenz. The train is most likely 48088 Cornaux oil refinery - Hamburg Süd (HASU) which is due to pass at 14:33

La Leica III està considerada una de les millors i més famoses càmeres de la historia. Per elles mateixes, les Leica impossaren a nivell mundial el creixent domini de la càmara de 35mm telemètrica, maximitzant les seves qualitats: poques vegades s'havia encabit tanta capacitat per fer bones fotos en tant poc espai.
De tota manera, ja en la postguerra mundial les reflex començaven a treure el cap, fins que la japonesa Nikon F feu el mateix que havia fet la Leica, extenent el domini de la SLR com a màxim exponent de la càmera de rodet.
Però tot i que Nikon i moltes altres marques del món occidental dominaren el mercat amb les seves reflex, una petita càmera sovietica ja havia sorgit set anys abans i entroncant encara més directament amb la Leica III. La unió de dos mons, una Leica III però amb visor reflex. Vet aqui la KMZ Zenit (posteriorment coneguda com Zenit 1).
Aquesta d'aqui és la inmediata continuadora, la Zenit-S (Зенит-C) en rus. La S (C en cirilic) fa referencia a que pot sincronitzar amb un flaix. De fet, apart d'això, és pràcticament igual a la Zenit original (i es troben a molt més bon preu). Aquesta la vaig trobar molt be de preu i amb l'afegit de portar la inscripció СДЕЛАНО В СССР ("feta a la URSS"). Està a més, en perfecte estat operatiu i fou produida el 1958.

The Leica III is widly considered one of the most relevant cameras ever produced. Leica alone made the 35mm compact, rangefinder camera the most used in the World for several decades, until the Nikon F did the same for the SLR from 1959 onwards.
Yet all the mighty Western camera makers did not produce a comparable camera in size and portability, at least in the early decades. It was the USSR, and several years before the introduction of the Nikon F. In 1952 KMZ launched the Zenit camera (aka the Zenit-1), and in 1955 this one in the picture, the Zenit-S (Зенит-C). The S (C in cyrillic) stands for synchronized with the flash. In fact this is mostly the difference between the Zenit-1 and the Zenit-S.
I found this one quite cheap and with the added interest of the СДЕЛАНО В СССР inscription in the back ("Made in the USSR"). This camera was made in 1958.

Dyrberg Logging Camp was a floating logging camp located in Seymour Inlet.
ALLISON HARBOUR also formerly known as False Bay and False Schooner Passage, is a natural harbour on the Central Coast of British Columbia, Canada, extending north from Queen Charlotte Strait to the southeast of Bramham Island. It is the site of the former post office and steamer landing of Allison Harbour, British Columbia. The Allison Reefs lie in the entrance to the sound; Allison Cone (185m), which is nearby between Shelter Bay and Cape Caution, was named in association with Allison Harbour. It is now protected as part of Allison Harbour Marine Provincial Park. There is no connection to Alison Sound, which is an arm of Belize Inlet in the complex of inlets leading out of Seymour Inlet.
Name origin - The present name was conferred in 1922 in honour of a Mr. Allison, manager of logging operations for the Smith-Dollar Lumber Company, circa 1922.
ALLISON HARBOUR Post Office opened - 1 September 1927. Northland Navigation Company discontinued service sometime after 1962. The Post Office closed - 24 January 1968; 1970 field check confirms that area is abandoned.
