C'est avec une dizaine de minutes d'avance que ce train de marchandises local reliant Sierre à Lausanne Triage a été photographié entre les gare de Bex et St-Triphon.
Change of position, just a few metres further in the direction of Rupperswil, where mixed freight no. 62257 (Luzern - RBL via Olten) is seen behind Re 4/4 II no. 11295 - or 420 295). Rupperswil, 19-06-2018.

Country Sideroad 14...
In May 2022 we went for a drive through the many sideroads and concessions of beautiful Caledon. stopping occasionally to snap a shot of this and that; often just stopping to admire the many colourful and amazing working farms and farmhouses along the way.

About 20 minutes early, this train from Basel Bad Rbf to Lupfig is hauled by Re 420 295 (the side of the loco still proudly displays the old number 11295). Lupfig is the seat of AMAG, the official Swiss importer for the Volkswagen Group - and the payload logically follows from that. In the distance, one can just about notice that the train has just moved from the right to the (regular) left track, as a result of engineering works further up the line. Frick, 27-04-2021.

Stagecoach NE 11295 SN69ZPZ Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC seen at New Bridge Street West, Newcastle working service 40 (20/03/23)
MAN 18.310 / Alexander Dennis 22757 (FX09 DBU) in Margaret Moxon Way, Hull, about to enter Hull Interchange.
After a lengthy overhaul at Doncaster Works, a resplendent 91110 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight' stretches her legs on the ECML once more, returning from Peterborough back to her new home at Neville Hill, running as 5Z50. The location is Eaton Wood, Retford.
Today's run provided an opportunity to fully test 91110 and Mk4 set NL26, both of which have been overhauled in preparation for planned reintroduction, in addition to ensuring that train crews and station staff retain their competency with the type.
NL26 (the former BN26) is currently comprised of Mk4 nos. 82223, 11426, 11326, 11295, 10311, 12325, 12429, 12465, 12474 and 12220.
After a two-month hiatus, it is nice to finally see the return of Class 91s to the East Coast Mainline; hopefully runs like this will become more commonplace as locomotives and sets pass through Doncaster works, in the run up to their reintroduction this summer.
And as an added bonus, it was 'my loco' doing the honours!

La B 25 a continué sa carrière au RHB (Rorschach - Heiden Bergbahn).
