Sanur ist ein Strandbad nahe Denpasar im Süden von Bali. Der Touristenbadeort mit zahlreichen Hotels der gehobenen Preisklasse liegt südöstlich der Inselhauptstadt und erstreckt sich von Nord nach Süd über 5 km am Meer entlang.

From the 2015 archives - in very challenging conditions, here we see SBB Re4/4 locomotives 11317 (front) and 11289 (rear) pass through Wassen on the snowy afternoon of the 2/2/15 with a small mixed freight working heading towards Esrtfeld and beyond.
Not So Common Loon
I was on my way home when I spotted this Common Loon in a lake. I found a place to pull over and took several dozen shots. This was one of my favorites.
I find that low-key processing works well with Common Loons. It allows them to really stand out and removes all distractions.

Re 4/4 II 11289 ist mit 484 008 (geschleppt) und einem Güterzug am Haken unterwegs in Richtung Bellinzona, aufgenommen in Riviera TI am 11.11.2024.
