Kort nadat de zon over de bergen was gekomen kwamen op 18 mei 2009 twee SBB Re locs met een lange goederentrein door Ingenbohl gereden. In de achtergrond is de 1.923 meter hoge Niederbauen Kulm te zien.
Am fruhen Morgen des 18. Mai 2009 kamen SBB Re 4/4 11285 und Re 6/6 11602 mit einem langen Güterzug durch Ingenbohl gen Norden gefahren. Ich hatte Glück mit der Wolkenlücke, im Hintergrund grüßt der 1.923 Meter hohe Niederbauen Kulm.

Am frühen Abend des 31. Juli 2023 ist die Re 4/4 II von SBB Cargo bei Brunnen mit einem Postzug von Cadenazzo nach Härkingen unterwegs.

La Re420 285 en tête d'une courte rame de desserte vient de passer le village de Tecknau et sa dirige vers la région Bâloise.
Als am Gotthard noch der Herbst herrschte war die Re 4/4 11285 mit dem modellbahnähnlichen Postzug im Wattinger Kehrbogen unterwegs nach Süden.
This is an entry for the Trading Places category of Brickscalibur and the Old but Gold category of the current Guilds of Historica challenge. It is a revamp of the candlemaker’s shop I built back in 2014. It features a full interior and uses the floating cobblestone technique we have previously shared a tutorial on.
Glorfindel and Eryl continued on their journey after stopping at the Wayfarer’s Den, eventually coming to Hradheim. There Glorfindel was able to visit his old friend, Kenan, who owns the candle shop Wax and Wick. It sits in the shopping district of Hradheim which is always bustling with folks going about various errands or hawking their wares. Some sweet treats purchased from a baker’s stall nearby were just the thing to provide energy for another day’s travel.

Die Tage werden kürzer, die Nächte länger... Das fotografieren kürzer, die Anfahrten bleiben aber gleich lang. Doch man muss nicht gleich früh aufstehen. Doch an diesem Novembermorgen war es etwas anders. Ab Abend zuvor hatten wir Weihnachtsessen und es war sehr gesellig. So gesellig, dass ich mir die Abfahrt von 06.00 als viel zu früh erachte. Müde stieg ich in den Zug. Bis er mich nach zweifachem Umstieg in Essert-Pittet wieder ausspuckte. Der Kurze Weg zur Fotostelle war echt anstrengend, doch auch das hatte ich geschafft. Noch bevor das Wetter zu arg zu machte, schickte SBB Cargo diesen Ferngüterzug, der von der schmuddeligen AK-Bobo 420 285 gezogen wird. Den grössten Teil ihrer Reise vom RBL nach Lausanne Triage hatte sie bereits hinter sich, als sie den drei Fotografen in Essert-Pittet vor die Linse fuhr.

KORSIKA, Bonifacio,,Die Treppe des Königs von Aragon (korsisch Scali di u rè d'Aragona, französisch Escalier du roi d'Aragon) führt in dem Ort Bonifacio auf der Insel Korsika eine Kalkstein-Klippe hinab.Die Treppe befindet sich im äußersten Süden der Insel an der Meerenge von Bonifacio, die Korsika von Sardinien trennt, am Mittel- bzw. Tyrrhenischen Meer.
Von einem Boot oder Schiff vom Meer aus gesehen wirkt sie von fern wie eine dunkle schräge Linie über die ganze Höhe des Kliffs, als ob ein Rohr in den Felsen eingelassen sei.
Eine Legende besagt, sie sei in einer einzigen Nacht von Truppen des Königs von Aragon Alfons V. nach der Belagerung von Bonifacio 1420 in den Felsen gehauen worden. Wahrscheinlicher ist, dass der Bau länger dauerte und durch Franziskaner erfolgte, die Zugang zu einer Trinkwasserquelle am Fuß der Treppe schaffen wollten.

Zwei "Nuggi-Bo'Bo's" auf dem Weg in den Tessin: Re 4/4 II 11285 und 11264 sind am 21.09.2024 bei Brunegg AG auf dem Weg in den Süden.
Čtyřkilometrový úsek trati číslo 201 pod střídavou trakcí je prakticky v osobní dopravě elektricky nevyužíván. Spojka mezi Ražicemi a Putimí se využívá hlavně pro vozbu uhlí ze severu Čech do teplárny Písek. A v případě, jako je tento, kdy je výluka mezi Protivínem a Ražicemi pro odklonění osobní dopravy. Kdysi tímto směrem na Pelhřimov jezdil poslední pár vlaků "Junák" z Plzně směrem na Tábor - Pelhřimov - Jihlavu až do Brna a zpět v opačném směru. Prakticky jediný plzeňský "plecháč", kterému byly odstraněny zásuvky dálkového řízení je právě tento kousek 242.208 a je dosti pravděpodobné, že se budou zase zpět dodělávat? Vzhledem k tomu, že potřeba těchto lokomotiv u ČD a.s. klesá, jsou postupně předávány k dcerce ČD Cargo a.s., kde mají pomalu nahradit nejstarší řadu střídavek, řadu 230. Lokomotivy mají být uzpůsobeny pro dvojčlenné řízení a má na ně být dosazeno ETCS. V Českých Budějovicích jsou již odstaveny stroje 242.201, 209, 221, 239, 241, 244 a 269, které byly předány pod ČD Cargo.
