The garden pansy is a type of large-flowered hybrid plant cultivated as a garden flower. It is derived by hybridization from several species in the section Melanium 'the pansies' of the genus Viola, particularly Viola tricolor, a wildflower of Europe and western Asia known as heartsease. The garden pansy flower is 5 to 8 centimetres in diameter and has two slightly overlapping upper petals, two side petals, and a single bottom petal with a slight beard emanating from the flower's center. These petals are usually white or yellow, purplish, or blue. The plant may grow to 23 cm in height, and prefers sun to varying degrees and well-draining soils. 11276

SBB Re 4/4 duo 420 276 + 420 244 tow withdrawn 11190 away from Basel. 11190 had been on Basel Lokdepot since last year and had been systematically robbed of various parts since. Ultimate destination for this machine is Bellinzona.
Re 4/4 II 11276 entered service in 1974. It is seen here in original military green livery at Rapperswil with a couple of Südostbahn coaches. This may have been the 12.16 service to St Gallen. 30 August 1983.

Non avevo ancora fotografato i nuovi Vivalto nell'originale livrea che ultimamente ricopre i treni regionali di Trenitalia...si tratta del R 11276 GE Brignole - Ventimiglia in transito nella stazione di Sampierdarena....peccato che l' E464 in testa non ricoprisse gli stessi colori....
Ecco qui un'intero convoglio formato da E464 e carrozze Vivalto che riveste completamente la nuova livrea per treni regionali di Trenitalia....un'ancata decisa alla smunta livrea xmpr! Speriamo che sia questa la direzione che prenderà magari per dedicare nuove livree a IC e compagnia bella...E464.695 al traino del R 11276 Sestri L. - Savona in transito nel curvone di Cornigliano

Cornigliano ti da una mano....a riprendere i treni regionali che rivestono la nuova livrea Trenitalia per questi servizi...dopo aver visto convogli con macchina in nuova livrea più carrozze Vivalto xmpr e macchina xmpr con carrozze nella nuova livrea ecco un po' a sorpresa un convoglio completamente nei nuovi colori. Stavo aspettando altro ma visto che c'ero ho immortalato l' E464.539 in testa al R 11276 Sestri L. - SV mentre entra in stazione a Cornigliano
