The bubbles look very good at 10x magnification. But at this magnification, it is difficult to photograph a constantly moving, flowing liquid.

I also didn't like the Microplanar 40mm lens. In general, the lens is good, but it is very afraid of contour light, there is a white veil in the center of the frame, which had to be removed in Photoshop.

The family of Torymidae comprises more than 960 known species.

This guy is presumably from the genus Torymus, which still has 390 species.

Most of them are ectoparasitoids of gall forming insects, usually gall wasps and gall midges.

So you might observe a fly ovipositing an egg into a leaf, and see a wasp moult out of the gall a couple of weeks later!

This tiny wasp exhibits physical colours at the whole body.

No special illumination (other than diffused white) applied here. Its just, that these guys are so small, that you normaly don't see these beautiful colors.

A 10 panel panorama of the Milkyway, as seen from the top of the Amphitheatre mountain range in the Drakensberg, South Africa.

The tent was pitched 10m from a 1km vertical drop, also the home of the Tugela Waterfall, second highest waterfall in the world.

The hike up to the top of the Amphitheatre took about 3 hours from the Sentinel car park, using the chain ladders to reach the summit. This is the only day hiking trail which leads to the top of the Drakensberg escarpment. We (Cory and I) overnighted next to the Tugela falls to catch the Milkyway, which rises to the east over the local settlements.
