This was taken in "The Market Tavern" pub in Altrincham. I guess at some point the pub used to be called "The Unicorn", as this was the glass motif that seemed to be on every window. In any case, I claim another 10 I-Spy points

The goal of the games is to get to 10points. Jonathan Wang had 8 points. I had 8 points and was about to win at the very next turn because I had achieved the largest army. Jonathan Wang decided to buy two Discovery cards and got two POINT cards adding up to 10 beating me.

With most everyone in the office hung over, sleep deprived, or both, there wasn't an enormous amount of energy behind work today.
Those who didn't take off early decided we should do a business lunch, where I was regaled with stories of just how sloppy drunk people got the night before (for the sake of client relationships, of course).
Lunch lasted almost 3 hours, and was quite an affair with appetizers, main course, desserts, and three bottles of wine (hair of the dog, you know).
Somewhat surprisingly, perhaps, Richard and I are making good progress on the project I'm out here doing.
We have loads of data and spreadsheets and graphs telling us exactly what's going on. The only problem is, we have no idea what it all means.
I guess that's for us to sort out next week.
We should have won our first match against Strasburg (we had a big lead in the first two rounds), but we kind of spaced, and didn't answer anymore questions; so we lost by like 2 questions. After the match, Strasburg told us that they really liked going against us, that it was really fun.
Then of course Mason killed us. But they only won by 100-something points this time! Last time they beat us by like 300 points (10points/question=30 questions).
Then we killed Manassas Park by double . . .
