I was trying out the backlight look after reading some of Conall's comments. I always thought these had to be done at sunrise or sunset to get the sun at a low angle. The sun was pretty high here at 10:40am.

This is study of the artist Jerone Witvliet. Her art piece shows a old abandoned building which is dieing. The dead trees surrounding the building signifies this fact. The white flags on the building also show that this building has given up. I've drawn a quick sketch of this building to understand the state of the building. I've also drawn a quick sketch which shows the possibility of the building being demolished or maybe rebuilt.
