We are delighted to welcome the wonderful Polish guitarist Maciek Pysz and his trio to the Crypt . All three musicians share a passion for acoustic music and intricate rhythms and decided to bring together their vast influences and offer special mix of jazz and world music.
Their style appeals not only to jazz audiences and it has been described as 'an exquisite jazz sound with a touch of World rhythms'. Maciek, who is the main composer for the group, has musical ideas that are fresh, accessible, technically challenging and can satisfy a demanding music lover's ears but are also very pleasurable to hear.
The group has been compared to E.S.T. and Avishai Cohen Trio led by acoustic guitar. Maciek recorded his first EP entitled 'Discoveries' in November 2008 and have been successfully performing the music since with energy and enthusiasm that is hugely infectious.
