VA Beach yellow dog! I have been a super negligent Flickr-er lately. Traveling back and forth to VA Beach about every other week for work has left me with no time. Hasn't kept me from photography though, I think I'm more obsessed than ever! Today, I left work at 5:30 and took Uno to the beach for some fun time; he deserved it, you'd be hard pressed to find a better travel companion/office mate. He is absolutely my best friend.

At the camera club yesterday I got reminded about this "old" image I took with my first DSLR (20D) and the brilliant 10-22mm lens. Shooting wide open can you imagine how close I was to the wind surfer? It was the only way to get this brilliant sunset into the frame. I do not remember having seen such conditions ever again. I was at the right place at the right time. ---

I can't believe it's December already. Tomorrow I will have my last class, then I'll have two more exams and I'll be done this semester. So much has happened this week that I really can't wait. Today was a little rough near the end of the day. But still a great day looking back on it. I feel like this shot sums on my week. Just taking a little step back this week just to focus on school, and I might do the same for next week to focus on my exam. I was honestly thinking about not posting today, or even shooting. But none the less I'm happy I did. have a good Monday!
