Magnifique découverte du Lac Long (2783 m d'alt) au pied du Brec de Chambeyron (3389 m d'alt), les couleurs naturellement saturées auront surpris plus d'un marcheur lors de notre périple qui a eu pour destination le Lac des 9 couleurs

A Wicked Turn
Acte 10
But also like said cat, he was mildly curious, suspicious as to who had made such a gingerly executed entrance unto the landing of the floor below?
And… instinct was telling him that whoever was treading so lightly below, was treading alone…..!!
He grasped the Jewelled tiara, turned, and darted from the room and took up a position just outside the sitting room doorway through which he had entered the corridor.
Silently he moved, listening intently as the cautious steps slowly made their way upstairs from the grand entranceway below…
His sharp ears picking up the faintest sound of a swishing skirt!. He could sense that the (probably bejewelled) owner of those feet, which were treading ever so lightly, ever so elegantly, was as much on the alert as he was, listening out into the darkness for any hint of danger, much the same as he.
Only she was not sure if there was an intruder, and he was, very sure, there was!
He licked his lips, as he pondered it over for a few precious seconds.
Was this, after all, some type of elaborate ensnarement?
Or was it, as they say, a difficulty mastered, so an opportunity won?
Should he stay, or should he go?….
That was his question, and the answer needed to be made forthwith!
The view from the Schlossberg - or Castle Hill, looking overt the city of Graz, where I visited as a performer at the Ukulele Festival of Austria. Just one of the many activities that seems to prevent me making any sort of stab at keeping up with my old Flickr mates!
This is a three-shot stitched panorama, extremely bright under the direct sun - so not ideal for shooting - but makes a good memento all the same.

NYS&W NY-10 hustles through PC Yard and is about to cross Mayhill St in Saddle Brook, NJ. The seemingly endless consist of double stacks stretches at least a mile or more past the NJT Bergen County Line overpass in the distance.

This image was shot on Fomapan 100 @200 film with a Kiev 6C camera and processed with a D-76 homemade 1+1 12 min.
My son has dropped his cat, Ciri, around for the night as his landlord is replacing the carpet prior to selling the property. So it could be that he will be house hunting sometime soon. But Ciri will miss him I think. She's not going outside in case she strays, I'm not used to cat sitting!:))
