(108/365) Matt & I went to an anniversary lunch for Broder's Pasta Bar here in Mpls. Every course from the lunch featured part of a La Quercia Acorn Fed Pig. It was amazing. This was our dessert course & let me just say that crisp bacon with the homemade vanilla ice cream was to die for.
Five kinds of violets. Four occur naturally in my yard. The yellow one I found in the woods last year and planted one at my house. I was so happy that it came back this year. I made violet lilac jelly yesterday. It mostly tastes lemony but it sure is pretty.
Day 108: May I introduce you to the motha of all whoopy pies...sized for a giant...but meant to be eaten by the average person. Whenever we order food at this local variety store...hubby looks for these and has to buy one...if they don't have any...he is very disappointed. Now, to be fair...he does not eat this mamouth-jamma all by his onesies....we split it...and even then...sometimes...we can't finish it. It's ridiculous really...but it makes my hubby happy :D

Day 108. I really need to get out and do more local HDR work on some of the cool places we've got here in town. Night shots are especially challenging but can yield interesting results.
