Today my grandmother celebrated her 104th birthday. She was surrounded by 5 generations of family.

DR.Kamal Ranadive was among the first researchers in India to propose a link between breast cancer and heredity and to identify the links among cancers and certain viruses. Ranadive encourages students scholar abroad to return to India and serve India their knowledge. Ranadive along with her 11 colleagues founded the Indian Women Scientists' Association (IWSA) to support women in scientific fields.
