This was from one of my last color drives, in the hopes of finding some color left on the trees. I think we had a little too much rain late in the season, causing the colors to fade. I thought this scene was especially pretty though. Hope you enjoy!

Calla - Santa Gemita - 102221
This cattle egret was one of 18 (!) in a field about 5 miles from my home. It was raining lightly all day, very gloomy, but we had taken a drive and enjoyed lunch out for my birthday. As we returned home, road construction caused us a slight detour- and I could not believe my eyes as we passed a field (in a very busy area) with what I was sure were cattle egrets dotted around in the tall grasses. They show up in Indiana from time to time but are not common here, and usually in very small numbers. I turned around, drove back and pulled in the driveway beside the pasture, and as I took a few photos my husband counted 18! I see this is dated 2020, looks like I need to correct my camera. This is 2021.
Church of the Epiphany in Belozersk (Russia, Vologda region).
The temple is considered to have been built in the 18th century, but it is believed that this is a rebuilt (and built-in) earlier building.
Belozersk is one of the oldest towns in Russia. Known as Beloozero (white lake) until 1777, it was first chronicled in 862 as one of the five original Russian towns (the other four being Murom, Novgorod, Polotsk, and Rostov).

These Plaxton bodied Volvo's were the first low floor double deck vehicles to be ordered in a large quantity. However, as no further orders for this combination were made it is assumed that they were not liked a great deal with orders switching to the Alexander ALX400 bodied version. Late 2009 / early 2010 saw these vehicles be refurbished including new destination equipment and interior seat covers. Some vehicles such as 4056 also received new front headlight and indicator units and all vehicles received the latest type of CCTV.
