Not many flowers were in bloom at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens.
I noticed these tiny wattle flowers in different spots of the wattle bush which individually does not look too appealing until I saw this tiny bud in the right position in front of a fully blooming wattle flower.
I am beginning to like the result of the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens/12mm Meike extension tube combo on my old Nikon D5100.
Many thanks for the Inspiration from Flickr friend Christine S.
Thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated..

I had to do some errands on Saturday and took the Oreston with me in the hope that I could do some experiments with it in the evenig.
I'm still trying to get my mojo back ... I think I might be on the right track. It's fun to play with the Oreston. Sorry about the bout of bokeh madness lately; maybe I should do a 100 x Oreston on 2023 ... no, I am just kidding 😂

One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Blue".
This shows around 1 mm of a match, so magnification is probably higher than 30:1 .

I've been really busy lately and haven't had much time to take any new pics. Happy Tuesday ♥

This panorama took some time (and all my RAM) to edit this evening HDR Pano stitched, tweaked and polished off in Lightroom, Affinity Photo, Luminar 4 and finally ON1 Photo Raw 2020.
One of my favourite images of 2019 thus far .. :-)
After seeing Simon's utak's YouTube video about the Petri 50mm f/1.8, I decided to cycle it back into the vintage glass this morning. The specific lens is the Pentri C.C 50mm f/1.8 and I'm shooting it on a helicoid adapter here. This lens has a busy quality that is somehow pleasant, and I chose it here to complement the grass and buttercup stems.
