U.S. Army soldiers from Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 3D U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) take part in a company physical fitness competition on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, VA., Aug. 8, 2025. The soldiers were broken down in to platoon elements and competed against the clock for the overall best time and highest total points. The soldiers were charged with tackling five different stations around the Joint Base. Each stationed consisted of a physical fitness event and a skill level 1 Expert Infantry Badge task. These tasks ranged from weapons disassemble, reassemble, function check to using a map to gather intel for a medical 9-line request for medical assistance.(U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Antony J. Family and friends were in attendance as Lt. Col. Brandon S. Robbins is being releived by Lt. Col. Slade H. Beaudoin as the battalion commander.
