Notice they all have the same bags. You can tell the pecking order of this group if you look closely,
You have noticed the girls all have identical odd-looking ladies' bags--likely bought at the same time. These bags are like an emblem for the group. Look at the girls' expressions. The girl closest to us in front is one tough unsmiling mama. Her hair, her lipstick, her expression says she is in control and you better watch out. Her second in command has an quizzical expression. What will the boss say next? Look at the girls in back. They are smiling. This is a sign of submission.

The bridge was torn down in the mid-2000s and replaced with a totally different style bridge. The scruffy atmosphere died with the old bridge.

365+1 Day of NEX-7 project

COMIENZO UN 365 DÍAS CON ESTA FOTO, con toda la ilusión, todas las dudas del mundo y con la idea de que va a ser dificilísimo llevarlo a cabo, teniendo en cuenta lo ajetreado de la vida cotidiana.
Me decido a hacerlo como reto personal y como medio para aprender fotografía y, por supuesto, y lo más importante de todo, para divertirme (espero hacerlo!).
Me permito la pequeña licencia de redondear en el calendario como día de inicio el día 6 de enero, día de reyes, y no el día 5, que es cuando realmente subí esta foto a flickr. El motivo es que mi 365 pretende ser de fotografía de aproximación, y qué mejor forma de comenzarlo que con las canicas de la infancia...
Espero disfrutar con este proyecto y que os gusten algunas de mis fotillos!.
Ya prometo de entrada que mi 365 tendrá retrasos considerables...

365+1 Day of NEX-7 project
Day one! We finally made it to 2010 and with the new decade, I have launched a 365 project. The goal, 30 second or longer exposure. This one ended up being 222 seconds. So, I realize that this might not at all happen once all is said and done by 2011, but I am always trying to get as high of an exposure as I can any way, why not make it a daily goal? The great part about getting out the longer exposure is the ability to bring out the foreground. Important to note, despite my new filters, they were not used for this shot. I am in the process of learning when and when not to use them.
