Ein Einzelstück im Bestand der Zillertalbahn ist der VT 1. Er kam 2013 von der Pinzgaubahn, wo er zuvor als Vts 11 eingesetzt wurde. Als einziger Triebwagen der Zillertalbahn verfügt er über zwei Führerstände. Zum Einsatz kommt er aber in der Regel in Kombination mit anderen Mittel- oder Triebwagen. Am Morgen des 15.07.2023 traf ich ihn bei Strass am Anfang des Zillertals an der Spitze des R 123 (Jenbach - Mayrhofen) an.

OLYMPUS EPL5 et objectif pancake Lumix 1,7 de 20mm
Fin février, j'ai effectué un court séjour à Bucarest en Roumanie à l'occasion d'un déplacement professionnel.
Habituellement, quand je voyage je vois partout la même mode vestimentaire internationale et les mêmes chaines de magasin. En Roumanie, c'est plus local et donc (à mon sens) plus sympa.

Sonntag maritim 1 – In Rostock-Warnemünde gibt es immer viel zu sehen und zu erleben, wie hier am Kai der Mittelmole. Sei es die noble Super-Yacht, der Traditionssegler, das Kreuzfahrtschiff oder der einlaufende Großtanker. Gelegenheiten zuhauf das Gesehene zu besprechen und auch viele Fotos zu machen. Ich jedenfalls kann Stunden lang an diesen Orten verbringen und es wird nie langweilig.
Allen Freunden einen guten und friedvollen Sonntag gewünscht.

AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVAL - The form and content of Janet Echelman’s luminous 1.26 sculpture, that suspends over the Amstel river in Amsterdam, has been drawn from the study of earth’s interconnected systems. Echelman used laboratory research from NASA and NOAA, which documented the effects of the 2010 earthquake in Chile — the historic shock resulted in the shortening of the earth’s day by 1.26-microseconds, which became the influence for the installation’s namesake.
The colorful volumetric piece takes the shape of a Tsunami canyoning across the ocean. In her studio, she generated a three-dimensional model of the tsunami that resulted from chile’s earthquake, then used software to create an outline of the rendering’s highest amplitude area, realizing the silhouette as a sculptural form. the material underscores connectivity — Echelman’s work utilizes spectra, a material that is 15 times stronger than steel by weight. the knotted mesh can withstand high winds, but is engineered specifically to imitate the intricacy of handmade lace.
Mittwoch maritim 1 – Immer wieder ist der Aufenthalt am Rostocker Seekanal voller Erlebnisse – hier von der Mittelmole beobachtet.
Rechts am Passagierkai liegt der noble Kreuzliner „VIKING JUPITER“ und links zu sehen der auslaufende Bulker „YASA YASMINE“. Beide Schiffe hatte ich bereits ausführlicher vorgestellt.
