I had a lot of fun outside toys growing up. Then I started to drive and ride motorcycle. I grew up some more and got married and had kids. My kids are now getting to the age where I had the fun outside toys....and now I'm buying them all over again. For both them and me!

Although the 071s came from General Motors in 1976, it was almost two years before I actually saw one. So, while not the first sighting, they were still a novelty when 084 appeared in Roscommon with the 09.20 Dublin Heuston - Westport.

In it's hey day these railings must have been fabulous to see, but I guess almost past the point of no return now.
My mum used to live in the house behind the railings before I was born.
