Mit einem ALEX nach Oberstdorf am Haken konnte ich 223 007 am Abend des 3. August 2013 bei Fischen im Allgäu erwischen.
Tufted Titmouse.
Sparrow-sized at 6 inches. Gray above and whitish below with rust colored sides and a gray crest. The "Black-crested Titmouse" is a species found in southwestern Oklahoma and Texas and is similar but has a black crest.
Their habitat includes swampy or moist woodlands, and shade trees in villages and city parks.
They range from eastern Nebraska east to Maine and south to Texas in the west and central Florida in the east.

Mourning Dove.
A 12 inch long bird with a soft, sandy buff color. They have a long pointed tail bordered with white and withblack spots on the wings.
It inhabits open fields, parks, and lawns with many trees and shrubs.
They range throughout the United States and Canada and winters in the northern United States.

Standing in as a last minute replacement for 45690, Scots Guardsman exits Blea Moor tunnel with the Chester - Carlisle Dalesman.
The jub was pulled early morning at Carnforth, luckily , with the Scot already in steam due to having had some maintenance work it was the ideal substitute.
Wild Turkey.
The male is 48 inches and the female 36 inches long. They are uUmistakable birds with dusty brown with an iridescent bronze sheen and barred with black. The head and neck are naked with bluish and reddish wattles. They have a fan-shaped tail with chestnut or buff tips. The male has spurs and a long beard on breast. The female is smaller and lacks the beard. Domestic turkeys are similar but usually tamer and stockier.
They inhabit oak woodlands and pine-oak forests.
They range from Arizona east and as far north as New England.

Recently returned to traffic, ex LNER B1 61264 rounds the curve at Beckhole on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, while climbing the 1in49 gradient towards Goathland with the 1245 Whitby – Pickering service on Wednesday 3rd August 2016.
Daarna kwamen er nog 2 treinen terug. Als eerste zien we hier de 6518 voorbij komen met een fraai samengestelde staaltrein.

昭和３０年頃に静岡県の河津町で発見されたことから名がついています。現在では、各地で植えられており見る機会が多くなりました。

Na een inhaalactie die nét niet lukte besloten we op dit fotopunt de laatste 2 treinen van de standaard optocht op te wachten Lineas en RailFeeding. Helaas was Lineas veel te laat en ook RailFeeding kwam net wat te laat door waardoor het zonnetje niet helemaal optimaal stond. Echter had ik wel eindelijk een RailFeeding Class 66 in de zon dus voor mij kon de dag niet meer stuk. We zien de 561-05 van RailFeeding met een matig beladen Hupacshuttle voorbij rijden.
