Street art or graffiti - HERO / NKRO in large sprayed colour

Countdown in Croydon for routes 468,119 & 60 going Southbound. 03/01/11.

Station Zaltbommel is, zeker met grijs weer, een weinig inspirerend station. Het enige dat het station kleur geeft, zijn de rode details en de blauwe stationsnaamborden; verder is alles grijs, grauw of donker. Hoewel er flinke verbeteringen zijn met enkele jaren terug (toen waren er zeer regelmatig meer ruiten stuk dan ik vingers heb en was de sfeer 's avonds niet om over naar huis te schrijven), blijft het station er wat troosteloos bijliggen.

Gelukkig was Strukton Rail op 3 januari van de partij om het station wat op te vrolijken. De spooraannemer reed namelijk met één van de 1700'en van Vlissingen naar Amersfoort en passeerde daarbij mijn woonplaats. Omdat het vastleggen van de collega's altijd leuk is, besloot ik mijn eerste foto van 2025 te gaan maken. Met als motief aan de rechterzijde het stationsgebouw kon Charlotte (ex-NS 1756) rond kwart voor twee vastgelegd worden.

With the usual B40 pair on other assignments. Northtown's BNCP heads through Union Jct with a GP39 and GP50 for this run down to the Bluff.

Regional NÖVOG took over the Mariazellerbahn (MzB) from state-owned ÖBB in December 2010. When we visited the MzB in February and March 2011, most of the rolling stock still represented the already past ÖBB time.
