Nu de Rzepin-shuttle van LTE is overgenomen door VTG/Retrack is het wachten op leuke lok's van dat bedrijf. Aangezien onder attest van RRF gereden wordt in Nederland kan er ook een 189 van dat bedrijf ingezet worden. Deze week was het de blauwe 189 099 in Distrirail uitvoering die de bijna altijd fraai beladen trein naar Tilburg Industrie mocht brengen. Inmiddels is de lok ontstickerd en in dienst bij DBC.
Terug naar vervlogen tijden! Toen de Rzepin-Shuttle nog gereden werd door RRF, toen RRF nog meersysteemlocs met bestickering had en toen het riet bij de Vlierdseweg nog niet bizar hoog was in juni.
Op 2 juni 2021 fotografeerde ik de 189 099 van RRF. Deze loc droeg toen nog Distrirail bestickering; inmiddels is de loc zwart en rijdt deze bij DB Cargo. Met een volgeladen Rzepin-Shuttle kon deze trein bij de Vlierdseweg worden vastgelegd. Gewoon vanaf de grond zonder last te hebben van begroeiing; heerlijk.
While it looks decent weather-wise, it was not. This was the first day of about two weeks worth of darn cold weather across the Iron Range and well beyond. The NW wind was howling making this real feel temp around the -50 below mark.

House Sparrow.
At 5 to 6 1/2 inches in length the male House Sparrow has a black throat, white cheeks and a chestnut nape with a gray crown and rump. Females and young arestreaked dull drown on top and a dingy white on the bottom with a pale eyebrow.
They inahbit cities, towns, and agricultural areas.
Introduced to New York City's Central Park in 1850 they can now be found throughout temperate North America.

Always like a good all-rail train to break up the standard CN logo and colors. This train is headed for New Orleans with 91 B&LE hoppers loaded with Minntac made marbles.
Taken in bad weather conditions on 02/June/1984 and not a good scan so forgive me for that ,but this shows a variety of locos at Healey Mills including 56098,08295,25288,47212 , a unidentified blue 56,and 08773

A pair of Class 20s (20210 leading 20128) at York with a down passenger train - 02/06/1984.
Working is 1E28 0835 Glasgow Queen Street to Scarborough (with 20128 added for the return trip between York & Scarborough).
