The interior of Transdev Blackburn Bus Company's Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL 100, R 100 TDV (ex-YJ04 LYG) carries an interior notice about the centenary celebrations and this cludes an image of Ribble Burlingham bodied Leyland Titan PD3, 1502, KCK 848 in service n Preston.
To commemorate the centenary of the formation of Ribble Motor services Stagecoach, Transdev and Arriva - who have operations which can trace their origins back to Ribble - have repainted vehicles into commemorative liveries. Whereas Arriva & Stagecoach have opted to paint buses into historic liveries Transdev has opted to paint a vehicle into traditional Ribble colours but applied in Transdev's current house style with images of bygone Ribble buses & coaches on the sides. The vehicle concerned is Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL 100, R 100 TDV (ex-YJ04 LYG) from the Blackburn Bus Company which was new to Yorkshire Coastliner and appropriately renumbered from 401 for the occasion. It is pictured on display on Morecambe promenade.
