Year 3 Prep students at Jerudong International School (JIS) Brunei performed Frankie and Me, a happy musical about an ordinary girl's attempts to find acceptance and friends at a her new school. She discovers that you don't have to be human to show humanity. When you need a friend, the only monster is prejudice!

Look at all this amazing stuff Dawn sent me. I almost cried I was so happy. It was a total surprise, because I had sent her a silhouette and she offered to make me a plush, so I asked for a tree and look at all the lovelies she added. It was so thoughtful of her, because 1. owls are my favorite plush to collect- I now own 9 (I think) 2. because she gave me fabric that was even labeled "bright" and "muted" and it was so thoughtful because when she asked me what colors I liked I said anything really colorful or I really like muted colors too and 3. because she's my flickr friend and I hope we'll continue our flickr friendship

this is plain old me doing what i do whenever i have a free moment - checking out the latest additions to the unravelling group. so, if you popped in for a cup of coffee, here's exactly how you would find me, sitting on the couch , laptop open and feeding my soul.
all alone - little 'ol me - i love laying on green green grass feeling how cool it is with the sun warming my skin. who needs lipgloss and powder and hairspray when you've got green green grass to lay down on!
I didn't take a lot of pictures today, but I did take a bunch of pictures of my eyes. I am afraid that the color is bleeding out. Can eyes change color when you get older? That is the question.
Selfie at the end-of-trail overlook of the Mummy Range (found off of the Lily Lake/Lily Ridge trail in Rocky Mountain National Park just outside of Estes Park, CO), where we had just scattered some of my Dad's ashes. This was one of my parents favorite spots to visit when in the mountains, and the choice of my mother as to where to figuratively say goodbye to Doc. A sad day but some emotional closure following his passing a little over a year ago.
