I'M BACK!
After a long vacation for my RL, I'm back to work in SL. How I miss it!
Taking a time off was very good for me, because I'm back full of inspiration and ideas for new photos. YAY! Also enjoying new lighting and edition techniques.

I've never felt comfortable showing myself off...I really don't have a good body image of myself. I don't know why I'm posting these, other than to try to ease this image....accept who I am, and go forward with my life.

A short break from travels photos. This was yesterday as i tried to overcome my jet lag.
I used to take self-portraits all the time. Now, not so much. I no longer feel the urge. But yesterday my son Sam (who is home for a short time) and I went to Calumet together and bought a lensbaby. This is one of the shots he took while he was testing it out.
This shot means a lot to me cause he took it. He's begun to surpass me in his photographic abilities. I've been at it for years, he's just started. He's now a year in to his cinematography program and he knows so much more than me about film and photography. He's now giving me advice!

Had the chance to finally get to visit the well known Ice caves in south Iceland.
I was expecting waterfalls, giant caves but it's just the beginning of the season for ice caving and right now the big caves are not really secure places to go...
Then, we still had the luck, in the middle of a giant storm, to visit the small but beautiful northern lights ice cave...
such lights, reflections, colours, harmony in this space!
If you visit Iceland in winter, I warmly recommend you to visit these caves in south iceland area close to the famous glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, and don't hesitate to take the photographer's tour, longer and made for taking pictures!

I've been wanting to shoot this idea for a long long time, i've just never had a girl i wanted to do it with.
I finally got the opportunity to while working with a friend in Antwerp last week.

Está muy recortada pero me ha hecho ilusión pillar esta especie aunque sea invasora, porque es un ave preciosa. Las había visto en diciembre con muy poca luz y creí que estarían de paso, pero hoy las he vuelto a ver en la misma zona.
