It almost put me into a full body retch!
Poor fellow was not feeling so swell. He had multiple issues: sore eyes and ears and abdominal pain. He had been vomiting or retching intermittenly. We have booked him in for a full workup. His bloods didn't show any significant changes.
Coming to visit your old friend via train? Here's where you'll end up. It's only about a 15 minute walk from my place, and there's a McDonald's in the ground floor for your retching convenience.

Ha! I made it about two blocks before I almost collapsed. Vision changes and everything. She had to leave me on a bench and retrieve her car to come get me. Once I got home I retched in the toilet and then had to lie on my bed for ages.

Here, it's a beautiful day, I haven't spent much time with my fiancée over the past week, and as soon as we're up I says "I need to work on my Firstcups!"
See, with my current computer/camera set-up, I'm disciplining myself to only uploading and editing from my home machine. This is good because the interface is better. This is bad because I can't upload as frequently and when I am at home I tend not to want to sit in front of the computer. Perfectly natural right?
So with some two weeks worth of shots on my camera, I plugged everything in and waited for the download. Only at some point, iPhoto or the camera froze up. I said, "No problem" and disconnected the USB. Only, on this set-up, as opposed to my old one, that means all your photos get deleted.
It was like getting robbed all over again, only with 2 weeks worth of photos. Cold sweats, nervous retching. There's no way any number of arty black and white empty cup shots will make up for this. Totally awful.
I'm frantically searching around the internets for a photo recovery program, all of which cost money. I found one that would run a trial for free and after installing it, noticed that it was finding the lost images on my computer, and not on my camera. I put on my deerstalker and did a number of searches and eureka, there they were buried in my iphoto archives.
But all these hours spent freaking out means I didn't have more time to upload photos. Maybe next weekend.

Crappy picture, but I was running late today because of being awoken at 2 a.m. by the sound of a retching dog. Good times...
So, this script is so old that it considers everything that's not Internet Explorer to be Netscape, and so ignored that after all those years it still forms a plural with an apostrophe. Retch.
