This week's Challenge was Doorways, Arches.
This Group is small but we are over-populated with Magnificent Manipulators.
Created for Artistic Manipulation Mixmaster Challenge 43.
➤ Your image must be an open-card-style diptych (not just side-by-side panels … see first two entries below for examples).
➤ Your diptych must portray an illustrated, self-created HAIKU OF EXACTLY 17 SYLLABLES** with the haiku on one side panel and the illustration on the other (though it’s okay if your illustration bleeds onto the haiku side).
➤ Your illustration must include purple and/or blue flower(s).
➤Also one or more black or dark-colored silhouettes (human and/or animal).
➤ NO WATER of any kind.

This week's Challenge was Flowers
Second episode of the Photo Manipulation Series. In this piece, I tried to express myself lost, staring at the moon, as I was thinking of life in general. Why we all exist? What is your purpose of living? Why we are all inserted in this world? Do you have any objective? Any goals established? Achievements? Well, there are plenty of questions that if we keep thinking deep, we will get to no answer. That is the main idea I tried to express in this piece, the abstraction if our daily thoughts. I hope you all enjoy this manipulation in which I was inspired by rafy.
1. I've never eaten a McDonald's hamburger. Or Burger King, Wendy's or any other of the sort. A single White Castle burger at the tender age of 3 made me hate burgers.
2. I've held over 20 jobs that have included everything from cashier to model to reception and transcription for a law firm.
3. I've been dying my hair for over 16 years, but I was born with red hair that turned blond-ish.
4. I've been in a techno-industrial-dance cover band (called Atomic). LOADS of fun.
5. I'm 5'4", and at one time, I weighed over 180 lbs.
6. I've been vegetarian for ten years.
7. I was terrified of zombies. It was a fear that was bordering on psychosis. And it was all due to George Romero's 'Dawn of the Dead'. Edgar Wright's 'Shawn of the Dead' cured me. Now, a zombie lover, I've been to Monroeville, Pennsylvania to the mall where they filmed the movie.
8. I *hate* U-turn drivers.
9. I'm pro-choice, but would never abort my own child.
10. I'm an atheist.
11. I had a sexual dream about Steven Colbert.
12. I believe that 'The Jerk' is the pinnacle of comic genius.
13. Chris and I occasionally make sounds under the name Informational Terrorism Transmissions.
14. I still play The Sims. If you would like to be a Sim in my world, please let me know! (I won't be *too* sadistic...)
15. I'm a pervert. Really.
16. Even though I take pictures of myself, I hate it when (most) others photograph me.
This started out as two photos of a slinky: one of a section of the slink slightly stretched out; the second showing it in the shape of a donut (with a hole in the middle).
Real Sana and Tree Photos that had custom art version of the background, and custom tones for the photo art.

The ice has all melted, but in the first half of April I had some good moments among the ponds, sloughs, and ditches. This was a small, seasonal pond in the nearby park, created by melting snow and soon to soak into the prairie earth, with some help from evaporation.
It may be hard to believe that we are looking at a totally flat surface. Near the top are a couple of small sticks coated with frost, lying on the ice (maybe partly frozen into the ice). Everything else is the flat, iced-over surface, skating-rink smooth; light striking the large crystalline structures gives it a three dimensional appearance. At the top, where the colours shift from warm to cool, I added no tint or any other form of manipulation. The only processing I did was to crop square and adjust the contrast levels in Photoshop.

This week's Challenge was Park Structures
An inside peek into Photoshop's Fantasy World
Created for Artistic Manipulation Group's Mixmaster Challenge #62 in which Chef Temari 09 asks us to create a manipulated and/or digital art image that uses her ingredients. www.flickr.com/groups/artisticmanipulation/discuss/721577...
CHEF Temari 09 wants us to enjoy our gardens!
➤ The main focus of your image must be a macro (closeup) of a single flower.
➤ The flower will be surrounded by a significant frame that includes an outer edge that is highly patterned and/or fractal.
➤ Include at least one other garden element (flowers, leaves, etc.).
➤ Also Illustrations (cartoon-like) of at least two funny animals (max 4).
➤ No People including humanoids (robots, statues, etc.).
Flower macro is my own photo.
I created the frame in DDG Text 2 Dream using this prompt:
A beautiful square frame with bright chartreuse fractals that has alternating stripes of black and white (and then I inverted the color in Photoshop).
Pngwing.com: Seahorse (used 2Xs), Seaweed (sea grapes).
Processing done in Photoshop Beta 2023 and Topaz Studio for a graphic texture.
