My first attempt at playing around with textures and filters on a photo I took. It's not bad...I'm sure with practice I'll get better.
Photo this work is based off of is Morning Gull. Textures used were found in Textures for Layers . Texture credits go to Chrysti and Cinzia Rizzo.
Again, another manipulation to simulate the Pictoralist image. This was taken at Bear Creek Park in Houston. Janet now refers to it as Bare Cheek Park.
We had started for Inks Lake to do some bicycling in the Hill Country but when we go to Blue Hole we had it all to ourselves so we stayed for five days. Janet shot lots of photographs. Since one of Janet's favorite photographers is Imogene Cunningham, I attempted to simulate some of the Pictorialist appearance of photographs that Imogene had taken of of her husband Roi Partridge sans skivvies.

I don't like flashy awards, since they're mostly given because of an obligation to stupid group rules. If you got something to say, say it in your own words and not by copying and pasting. I don't follow such rules, so if you have the sweaper running, don't even bother to invite me please. As of now the flashy awards will be removed, no offence!
This was achieved by blending the dinosaurs (Brachiosaurus and Diplodocus) into an image of a sunset using photoshop.

New River Walk . . . a place to pause for thought . . . all that is solid melts . . . but winter is not the time for prolonged waterside contemplation . . . I take a picture . . . I will continue my thoughts at home.
As a method of relaxation I sometimes indulge in photo-manipulation. More often my manipulation is post-production (e.g. playing with pictures in photoshop) but in this instance my manipulation is pre-production (I threw a very small pebble into the water and watched the ripples before I took the shot). I like the effect. As my working life recedes into the past trees and water come to the fore and my memory of architecture ripples into strange formations.

COMENTEM! *-* Olá, bem eu já tinha uma manipulação assim em mente, mas não tinha quem editar, até que vi esse shoot da reese, e acho que deu certo :B
tive que fazer o céu,
colocar mais cabelo e colocar
uma parte do vestido nela também;
o que me desanimou por total foi porque só depois que eu salvei eu reparei na opacidade do vestido :((( mas, tirando isso gostei de tudo (:
