Craggy Range is a winery and restaurant based in Havelock North, New Zealand.

Christmas is less than a fortnight away and nature here in Ostwestfalen is like early Spring. We used Sunday afternoon for an extended hiking tour around home waters of the river Werre in the Löhne area.

'Het Speulderbos' is called ' the forest of the dancing trees'. The forest is not just mysterious, it is also very rare. It's a paradise for birds (of prey), deer, badgers and wild boars.

Snowy Egrets nest in colonies and are very social on their nesting grounds.

South Mountain Reservation – The Rahway River which runs through the reservation doesn’t have much water flow since there hasn’t been much rainfall. That’s ok, what you end up with is a peaceful inviting stream. The weather has also been unseasonably warm. That’s ok too. It just keeps the autumn foliage around a bit longer. What’s also ok is that together those things just make us photographers just a bit happier. Enjoying Autumn! :)))

I love these horses and visit them to say hello regularly. They are always so friendly and inquisitive. They love love !!

Also because I love this music and think it goes well with my feeling about these two beautiful animals and the times when we've said "Hello - I love you".

Carlos Paredes on the Portuguese guitar, playing Verdes Anos

'Verdes Anos' is Portuguese for 'green years'. Please right click on the link and open a new tab to listen. Thanks !

This started out as a simple picture taken on my iPhone. I processed it using Topaz Impression 2 and PicMonkey.

I do hope you like both my picture and the music I've chosen. Thank you so much for all your wonderful friendship and support. I really, really appreciate it !

Thanks for your visit and comments, I appreciate that very much!

It is a former estate garden featuring annuals, roses and wildflowers and an extensive rockery. It is located on Wilket Creek, one of the tributaries of the Don River West Branch. The estate's title was once held by Alexander Milne, a Scottish weaver who settled here after the War of 1812 and left in 1832. The land and the woolen/saw mills was obtained by Rupert E. Edwards in 1944 and created his country home. Edwards home was left in neglect and was purchased by the Municipality of Metro Toronto in 1955 and became Edwards Gardens in 1956.

During my business trip to Toulouse this week I was lucky to enjoy two hot summer nights in the city, and take captures of incredibly beauty sunset. Pont Neuf from 1632 is the oldest bridge over river Garonne.

Actually, he/she didn't go far...only about 30 or 40 yards to the other side of the lagoon.

It's a common Green Darner, I believe. These insects tend to hover in one place, so it's not as difficult to photograph them in flight as it might seem.

A painterly version of a photo posted earlier, this digitally enhanced image done for Sliders Sunday shows a Red-bellied Woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus) just after he had found a treat in a dead tree stump. While the original image showed a winter scene, I decided to warm things up just a bit with the background in this one. :-)

The original image is in the first comment.

HBW!

After a couple of colder days the weather turned mild and sunny on Saturday. Time to have a look for the pikes in the lake. The Hücker Moor is a nice little lake in the Herford area (Northwest Germany). Peat was cut here more than a century ago and created this lovely landscape. Today the place is a great location for wildlife and worth a trip for the local folks in all seasons.

Thanks for your visit, comments, faves, invites,...

I had a great time in Latvian sea-side with my family. Lots of beautiful moments in nature. Deepness in another level.

I'm glad to see you all have been so productive. See you!:)
