Berlin on a foggy morning.
This shot was taken from a plane over Berlin by my colleague Carl Janssen on a December morning using an Apple iphone 6s.

The Palace Park is part of the Crown Lands of Het Loo together with the extensive stretches of forest and heath land belonging to the Crown Estate. There 's nothing like cool temperatures and fresh air to raise the spirits. during my forays to the Alabama Hills the temperature can get up into the 100's and when they do, this is where I seek refuge. At around 9000 ft in elevation the difference in temperature is about 15 degrees and there nothing better the a fine mist that floats away from the falls right onto your weary soul.

Château de Chillon (Chillon Castle) is an island castle located on Lake Geneva, south of Veytaux in the canton of Vaud. It is situated at the eastern end of the lake, on the narrow shore between Montreux and Villeneuve.
A long exposure, landscape image of waves spilling over rocks on the shore of Cullen Bay in Morayshire, Scotland, at sunrise.
There is hardly a better place in my area to enjoy a perfect Autumn day than the open-air -museum in Detmold. We spent a whole day in beautiful sunshine without a cloud in this lovely location.
The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.

Mt. Wilbur is just one of the iconic peaks in Glacier Park's Many Glacier area. It rises 4500 feet above Swiftcurrent Lake. The Ptarmigan Wall forms a rugged steep narrow ridge to it's NE. Also known as the Pinnacle Wall by some.
Iceberg Lake is in the corner junction where the Wall meets Wilbur. A highly recommended hike. Some pics of this pretty lake in comments.

German for Devil's Mountain The US National Security Agency (NSA) built one of its largest listening stations atop the hill, rumored to be part of the global ECHELON intelligence gathering network.
Back to Scotland with this long exposure of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow, taken this morning. Don't let the patch of blue sky fool you the sky was mostly blanketed with cloud until I got back home at which point the sun came out - just my luck!
What amazing light I saw this evening as we finished up work for the day and off I went to walk about and take in the sights. Couple of Dutch Botters sitting in the harbor caught my eye. One of those images that I can't decide between B&W or Color, happening a bit more lately.
Shot with the Olympus E-M1 atop Whites Road in Wilmington, Vermont. The colors this year, especially the reds, are just spectacular. This scene is where Mt. Haystack meets Mt. Snow.
Lorenzo State Historic Site is a mansion built by Colonel John Lincklaen, founder of the village of Cazenovia, NY.[2] Colonel Linklaen was the agent of the Holland Land Company upon whose recommendation the Company purchased the 135,000-acre (55,000 ha) tract of land where the village grew. The painted brick mansion, begun in 1807 and completed in 1809, overlooks picturesque Cazenovia Lake. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in July, 1970.[1] Located on the grounds is the separately listed Rippleton Schoolhouse.

What we have here quite beautiful seasons in the spring everything is light green, and the summer everything is green in the fall colors of the rainbow and in winter everything is white, gorgeous !!!

The Glärnisch is a mountain massif of the Schwyz Alps, overlooking the valley of the Linth in the Swiss canton of Glarus. It consists of several summits of which the highest is 2,915 metres above sea level. The other main summits are the Bächistock (2,914 metres), followed by the Vrenelisgärtli ("Verena's Little Garden" at 2,904 metres) and the Ruchen (2,901 metres). Until 1995, the highest point of the massif was considered to be the Bächistock, as the current main summit was thought to be lower (2,909 m).
