ElastixWorld, the annual event which brings together developers, manufacturers, resellers, integrators and customers of Elastix, Asterisk and the VoIP Community at large, was held this year in Madrid, Spain from Sept. 25-27. Xorcom, along with our authorized partner in Spain, Jesatel Comunicaciones, sponsored the event with a joint stand in the Expo. Our Regional Manager, Ariel Mapelman, presented a lecture entitled "Introduciendo Asterisk en la Industria Hotelera".
La pantalla central mostraba el "Showcontrol" desde el que gestionabamos cada una de las instalaciones interactivas. Las pantallas laterales mostraban lo que se veía en cada uno de los proyectores. De esta forma desde el Backstage podíamos gestionar todo el evento.

Asterisk Blocks for a project my friend Sarah is doing for children in foster care, called Quilting for Kids. I think these turned out super awesome! I never would have made blocks like these or in these colors on my own, so it's great to be part of this project and try something new & different! I hope this quilt helps this young woman know how important she is and how much she is loved by people all over the world!

I have no idea what this is, but I am guessing it's going to grow up to be cleavers. When Dani and I go hunting wildflowers, we make a game out of who can spot a new variety first. She always pops out with "Cleavers!" I can never see them because they don't have a flower... but they are everywhere!
Now, I really shouldn't be posting these photos - I am REALLY jammed up on an illustration project and I swore to myself "NO FLICKR TODAY!!!"
But I just can't help myself!
Anyway, I TRULY appreciate you taking a look at my photos - it makes my day to read you kind and positive remarks (you may keep the rest to yourself! :O) ). But if I don't get back to you right away, it's because I really AM working on what I am SUPPOSED to be working on!
