The Breithorn (4,164 m) is a mountain range of the Pennine Alps with its highest peak of the same name (but also called Breithorn (Western Summit)), located on the border between Switzerland and Italy. It lies on the main chain of the Alps, approximately halfway between the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa and east of the Theodul Pass. Most of the massif is glaciated and includes several subsidiary peaks, all located east of the main summit: the Central Breithorn, the western Breithorn Twin (or Eastern Breithorn), the Gendarm (or eastern Breithorn Twin) and the Roccia Nera. The main summit is sometimes distinguished by the name Western Breithorn.
The Breithorn is considered the most easily climbed 4,000 m Alpine peak. This is due to the Klein Matterhorn cable car which takes climbers to over 3,820 m from Zermatt for a starting point.

Ermatingen is a municipality in the district of Kreuzlingen in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland.
Roughly translated as "waterfall of the gods", Goðafoss is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. The water of the river Skjálfandafljót falls from a height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters. Truly remarkable!

There is one thing I learned from what I lived:
When you live something, you must live it fully
Your lover must be exhausted from your kisses
You must be exhausted from smelling a flower
One can look at the sky for hours
One can look for hours at the sea, at a bird, at a child
Living on this world is being one with it
Growing unbreakable roots into it
When you hug your friend, you must do it with all your power
You must be in a fight with all your muscles, body and passion
And when you lie on the hot sand,
You must rest like a grain of sand, like a leaf, like a stone
One must listen to all the beautiful music
Such that the sounds, the melodies fill inside
One must dive headfirst into this life
Like diving from a rock into an emerald sea
People you don't know must attract you to distant lands
You must live with the desire to read all the books and to know all the lives
You must exchange nothing with the happiness of drinking a glass of water
But for all the happiness there is, you must be filed with the longing to live
And you must also live grief, with honor, with all your presence
Because grief also maturates one, like happiness
Your blood must be intermixed with the large circulation of life
The never-ending, fresh blood of life must circulate in your veins
There is one thing I learned from what I lived:
When you live, you must live big, like being one with the rivers, the sky, and the whole universe
Because what we call lifetime is a gift presented to life
And life is a gift presented to you.

Dettifoss is a waterfall in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland, and is reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe.
Unfortuantely, because of the weather on the day, it was not accessible, and so we had to settle with this position: The nearest we could get...
Detti is definitely on the list again for our next visit!

At night the main street of Anting converts to an open-air BBQ street, as so many places in China do.

I wonder what the builders of this medieval gate from the 13th century would think if they saw it today. A tram running right through it, graffiti smeared on it and strange metal machines parked inside. Would they turn in their graves or enjoy the integration into modernity?

Bow Lake is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies. Bow Lake was one of the stops during driving on the Icefields Parkway. It was a cloudy morning; I was amazed by the magnificent peaks and reflections on the lake. The view is stunning. Spending some time walking around the lake, the scenery of Canadian Rockies is out of this world.
This was a bit different view of Bow Lake 😅
