During this hike we touch the cloud a few times. Inside it's foggy and cold and you feel the wish arise to reach the sun as soon as possible.
I spend a lot of time for postprocessing. The overexposured clouds lets me doubt that it's not worthy for do work on it. But I found a way to recover it with the Capture NX Raw converter. There is a possibility to adjust the exposure there. So I did three different exposures from one raw and blended it after.
From Malbun we have the choice of hiking up or taking the chairlift to the mountain station at Sareis. From there, the Fürstin-Gina-Weg path follows the ridge path to the Sareiserjoch, where it runs into the ascending route from the Nenzinger Himmel and the path becomes more challenging. From here it's uphill between alpine flowers and along small craggy paths to the highest point of the tour, Augstenberg, at 2,359 meters above sea level with a large cross on the peak and a glorious sweeping view. The following ridge path to Pfälzerhütte (hut) is challenging, sometimes steep and secured with wire ropes at exposed parts.

Went in search of the Mandarin Duck at Burnaby Lake but didn't find it. Saw a few other beautiful ducks still though. There were some Green-winged Teals in among the other more commonly found there ducks.

Touch of the Storm
Hello everybody guys, here the second work from my recent experience in Canada, from the top of the Nibllet in the provincial park of Assiniboine. The windchill was so hard that night and even with two pair of gloves and chemical warmers the cold was so intense, but the beauty of an upcoming winterstorm was unbelivable. One of the greatest things of this trip was the possibility of admiring the true mood of Winter. I hope with my shot to gives you a pinch of that feeling.

From the highway, you could see that there was not much water coming over the Chippewa Falls on the Harmony River. In this area, the leaves were just starting to turn colour.
Lone sentinel watches a late display of magical sunset colour over the rural areas near Mansfield in Victoria, Australia. An unexpected opportunity manifested itself to take the kind of photo which I wanted to take for a long time - silhouetted bare tree stretching out against a fiery sky.

On a gloomy day, SSR's 3448 grain heads north from Ungarie in the south of NSW, to Carrington in Newcastle. On the lead are CLP12 in undercoat white paint, freshly repainted C505, C510 and SSR102.

my last morning in Iceland, we stopped at a local artisans’ studio, and i bought this hand-carved horse from an artist named Lára — i’d been telling her about the research grant i’ve submitted to do a project in this country, and another customer who was listening said, “well, now you have your touch wood, for luck” — i hope she is right!
