Re/Touches is an event organized by vzw Constant. The goal of this workshop was to learn how to repair clothes, make them last longer, instead of throwing these away and buy new ones. This workshop was the opportunity to learn repair techniques, to share knowledge with professionals and to actually repair clothes.

Went to check out the serpentine prairie in Redwood Regional Park on Sunday. Kind of dissapointing. First of all, most of the interesting areas have been fenced off to protect the plants, which is understandable, if unfortunate. But on top of that, this part of the park is so close to dense suburban housing that it's little more like a glorified dog park. Lots of people, dogs, dog shit in little bags, etc. I'd be curious to see the Presidio clarkia when it blooms, but otherwise I don't think I'll be returning. These cream cups were a welcome sight, though.
