I still can't bring myself to take this kind of photo, letting people see me take their photo. I just put the camera down on the table I was sat at, pointed it towards him and hoped for the best.
Landscape I was trying didn't really work this week, so decided too have a walk around a couple off lakes and I found this spot where the geese where coming in. Been a long time since I have done any bird photography, enjoyed myself.
This bee had just touched-down on the center of a Matilija Tree Poppy - these flowers are the largest of any California native plant!. Seen at the Los Angeles Arboretum Arcadia CA
I spent the entire weekend working on my panning skills. The light at the pool was as good as it gets, and I really enjoyed leaving the flash in the bag.

Touch
Today, I spent all my extra time working on my Valentine's Day gifts for Vince. I hope (and hope and hope and pray) that I will find the time to finish them. I hate that I am always so inspired last minute. Hence the usual nature of my photos being up loaded near or after midnight every day. Well, I figured since I spent my whole day thinking about love, my photo should reflect it.

This is Q1. It's the worlds largest residential tower. I can't explain why, but I feel an affinity to this building. When i'm down the coast, I can't seem to keep my eyes off it. I work as an architectural drafter, and when I see it, my mind just runs wild thinking about how much work and expertise would go into creating such a structure. It's a monster. It towers above EVERYTHING!
BTW, no i'm not trying to promote it in any way :)
