So, on one level I feel bad, because obviously these people lost their baby. On the other hand, we have a blurry picture that could be any white baby in the world, size information that's hopelessly out-of-date and the hilarious "Athol, Idaho". So it's kind of funny.
VANCOUVER - Many of the 26 women Robert Willy Pickton is accused of killing appear in a police poster as mug shots -- blank eyes cratered into sallow, ravaged faces, hair pushed out of the way. Now and again a smile peeks through, out of focus or blurry because a friend or relative didn't quite get the exposure right.
There are a few -- Andrea Joesbury, Tanya Holyk -- whose beauty offers a startling diversion.
Heather Bottomley grins impishly.
Sereena Abotsway looks sad. Sherry Irving just looks young.
But all blend into the macabre patchwork quilt that makes up the 66 faces on the police's missing women poster.
Some were hard-core, some relatively recent inhabitants in the Downtown Eastside, an area a former B.C. premier described once as a "terrible human zoo." Some weren't even prostitutes, according to friends.
On Jan. 22, Port Coquitlam pig farmer Robert Willy Pickton will go on trial for six of their deaths. That day, the beginning of what promises to be a long, grinding and disturbing process, the public will hear for the first time the Crown's grim allegations of how these women died.
Pickton now faces 26 charges of murder -- six of which will be dealt with in the trial starting next week. He is to face the remaining 20 murder charges in a later trial.

Maggy Gisle, who knew many of the women and considered some close friends, lived the rough street life for 16 years. She went through rehab an astounding 22 times before getting clean, regaining her son, caring for her daughter and holding down a job as a homecare worker on the Sunshine Coast.
She and her best friend, Cara Ellis, promised each other that whoever got out first would rescue the other.
Gisle got out and went back. Ellis wasn't there.
"I miss her terribly. I'm still trying to get used to the idea she's not going to come around that corner. 'Cause I always believed that she would."

I miss him so much that it hurts.
It’s only 1 month since daddy left us, but it feels like he has been gone for a year. I think about daddy every day, all the fun moments we had. I don’t know why daddy is gone, mom says it’s complicated and when daddy calls me we don’t talk about it. I can’t remember exactly where he is, but I know it’s 15.000 miles from here. I can’t wait to see him again and give him a big hug, but I have to wait for long time. When I’m crying mommy says that daddy will be home soon and everything is okay. But I don’t believe her. There are a lot of people who think that my dad can be evil sometimes, but that’s because he’s in pain. Mommy has told me a lot of times that daddy’s leg really hurts. I just think my daddy is cool. Because every time I fall and hurt my leg I start cry, but I have never seen daddy cry. Last time I saw daddy was in the airport, he gave me a hug and promised that he would come back. I’ve never cried that much before. Now I just hope that daddy will come home soon. The best thing about daddy is that he’s funny. He can always make me laugh and forget about the troubles. I hope I can go visit him soon… It’s hard to think that there’s 5 months left. Because I miss him so much that it hurts.

When i talked with this mother till he didn't know that her son is not alive. I couldn't tell her that i saw her sons dead face. Mother still waits for his son Faruque.
Last 24th April a eight-storey building titled Rana Plaza that collapsed near Savar bus stand of Dhaka- Savar area. In this mess about 280 people were killed and over 2,000 injured. Other side some 1000 people are trapped under the rubble. Most of the injured workers alleged the owners had forced them to join work on Wednesday.

This old farmhouse has seen better days. The Smieczno Farma--its name according to a deteriorating sign posted on a tree near this tumble-down home-- has been long abandoned. It greatly appeals to the genealogist in me.
I wonder about the people who lived here: While i know their last name, or think I do, I wonder what they did here and if they were happy. I think about the various reasons why this place might have fallen into decay. Most of all, I wonder if anyone can recall their faces.

Poster appealing for information about missing Gemma McCluskie*, Bethnal Green resident and former EastEnders actor. Sadly, it was reported on the news on 7th March that a torso recovered from the Regent's Canal in Hackney was almost certainly Gemma's (this was later confirmed), and her brother was being held on suspicion of murdering her.

Black lives matter. Sure, but BLM is a corrupt destructive organization, and ALL lives (including unborn fetuses) matter.
Women's rights are human rights. Who doesn't believe that?
No human is illegal. Wrong. Humans can commit illegal activities like unapproved immigration.
Science is real. Sure. We all believe in science, but we can't always believe scientists. They can be mistaken or simply lying to maintain funding. In fact the funding sources can and often do have political motives. For example, what scientists would get funds to study errors in climate models that predict global warming?
Love is love. Not according to science. Parental love for children differs from heterosexual love of mates. There are many more flavors of love.
Where is the slogan about meritocracy, freedom of speech, separation of powers, the sanity of the constitution?
Kindness is important but it doesn’t eclipse love or truth as “everything”.
