The Bridge

I stood on the bridge at midnight,

As the clocks were striking the hour,

And the moon rose o'er the city,

Behind the dark church-tower.

I saw her bright reflection

In the waters under me,

Like a golden goblet falling

And sinking into the sea.

The Bird's have been helping themselves to the Wild Berry's.

You never really leave a place or person you love,

Echtetekke:- Now I missed it for the second time in a row. Had to delete my second message also. I now see what you really did here. I have to follow that vertical line on the left side of the picture downward, then turn left at the third (and final) crossroad, follow the horizontal line till the fifth (and final) crossroad and turn left again, follow the slanted line upward till the third (and final) crossroad, then go diagonally, following the -> missing diagonal <- to the central point in this picture, right in the upper right corner. Brilliant picture! I do think I can get totally lost in it.

I saw & read " Missing diagonal " I laugh out loud....Very amazing!!! The word , It was matching of The Title "Missing" of mine.!!!!!!

Echtetekke:- Whoops, I thought you put this puzzle into your picture on purpose. First I didn't think much of this picture but then I saw your other photo's and realized that you knew exactly what to put in your pictures and what not to put in them. So I took a closer look at this one. I noticed the horizontal line, the vertical line, and then I figured you didn't put them there like that by accident. Then I saw the crossroad, exactly ont the lower right side of the picture, a perfect alignment. Then I noticed that the upper right corner was also perfectly cut out, and went to look at the upper left corner for another clue. I couldn't find it. It seemed to be missing. First I thought that that was the point you were trying to make, that your picture was missing something. But then I realized that the point in the upper right corner was the final point to your picture, all other points are connected by lines. Except for your final point. The only way to get there was to follow a line that wasn't there. The missing diagonal. Then I noticed that all diagonals with this direction were missing. And figured that that was what you meant to say with the word 'missing'. But apperently you didn't mean that. So now I really wonder what you did mean to say with this title.

Momo has been missing for one week. I miss her so much. I had been searching for her around my resident but I couldn't find her. Momo, please come back home. Do you still remember, when you were sick, I brought you to the clinic with my dad and you just couldn't stop from meowing. And I said you will be okay. Momo, please come back home. To me, this is the best season to visit Provence….Unfortunately, I can’t go there this year…But, every night, when I lay down on my bed, I smell it thanks to the Lavender Pillow that I’ve got from one of the smallest villages in Provence…. To the memory of my lovely Provence, I initiated a new photo series: Missing Provence. The partially collapsed, abandoned coal loading jetty at Catherine Hill Bay, NSW. Recent bushfires destroyed the older timber sections of the jetty, leaving only a newer concrete & steel section to connect it to the headland.

Today I felt homesick and I was missing Barcelona's beach a lot. This is an old picture to refresh my memory....great place indeed.

I am working on my old files and stumbled across this picture, taken in June of last year, shortly after I got my Canon 50D. I realized that I don't really see that much of blue sky anymore...and felt little nostalgic.

I am sharing this rose today for my daughter, Jenna. She moved 3,000 miles from home yesterday and I miss her constantly. It is just the center of the rose; as she is the center of my life. The beads of water are for the tears I shed in missing her.
