Another of the demonstrations I saw as I walked down Whitehall. This protest called Millions Missing was a virtual protest outside the Department of Health in Whitehall. It was a representation of the millions of ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) and CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) sufferers missing from their careers, education, social lives and families due to the debilitating symptoms of the disease.
The protests were internationally coordinated taking place in America, Canada and Australia. It was called 'virtual' because those who could not make it were asked to send a pair of their shoes to represent them. Each pair of shoes was labelled with the individual's name and what they were missing because of their condition.

Beim Spaziergang blieb Danbo zurück, weil er da 'was' gefunden hat. Den Teddy muss wohl jemand verloren haben und so klingt die Vermisstenanzeige eher wie ein Aufruf an den Begleiter (Besitzer klingt so negativ):
Wer seinen Begleiterteddy verloren hat, möge sich melden. Er wurde natürlich gerettet und freut sich auf baldige Heimkehr!

The Oriental Lily opens a 6 petal bloom that can spread up to 20cm in diameter.
The height of the Oriental Lily can range between 3 to 5 feet.
Oriental Lilies tend to flower outside, in mid-season (July/August).
They are a long lasting and highly scented variety.
Sometimes, they just miss a petal and show us more!

Sometimes you can get so focused on a single purpose, that really interesting things happen around you that you're oblivious too. It pays to step back, relax, and have a look around you at the rest of the world now and then. You may just learn something.
I had her in a drawer, I don’t know where the rest of her body is. But now she can be posted for the theme of missing/broken pieces. 😀
Really I'm just missing my mom. So hard being soooo far from her. I took this with my phone over Thanksgiving at her house.

I hiked several miles up onto the new section of the Foothills Parkway last January before it opened up to make these pictures. I believe it is one of the prettiest views of the Smoky Mountains particularly since you can drive there now that it is open.
This section of the parkway is known as the "Missing Link"
