Les gorges del Segre, la bellesa del Pirineu de la Cerdanya

Excursió al Pirineu de la Cerdanya, a les gorges del Segre i als voltants de Llo, per a gaudir de la natura de l’alta muntanya i de la seva flora excepcional. Amb el guiatge d’Àngel M. Hernández Cardona, catedràtic emèrit de ciències naturals, autor del llibre “Flora del Pirineu”.
Dels banys de Llo (Cerdanya francesa) cap a les gorges del Segre pel refugi de la Culassa i pla de la Creu. Tornada pel Mas Patiràs i el castell de Sant Feliu de Castellvell (1.659 m), mirador excel·lent de tota la Cerdanya i el Carlit. Recorregut: 14 km. Desnivell: 500 m.
A més de l'interès florístic, aquest itinerari forma part de la ruta dels "Contrabandistes de la llibertat", per on van passar milers de fugitius dels nazis durant la Segona Guerra Mundial, malgrat que era una zona vigilada per la temible Gestapo, que tenia el quarter general a Vilanova de les Escaldes, prop de Dorres. També fou una zona molt important per als maquis, que centralitzaven la seva activitat al Mas Patiràs, última parada de la ruta per travessar la frontera.

As well as gaining a strong and loyal Middle Eastern following Amr also recived major coverage in all middle Eastern press inc. Harpers Bazaar -AlShark AlAwsat and Grazia Peices from this collection were later seen on the Red Carpet on some of the most iconic women of the 21st Century including Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue,Claudia Schiffer Cindy Crawford Kate Moss Elle Macpherson and Katy Perry to name a few.
In the woods - this beautiful girl is self concious because she has been bullied by other girls for having blondish hair and freckles, but I think she is just lovely as she is.
Waimea Valley is an area of historic cultural significance on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The valley, being an important place in Hawaiian religion, includes several historical structures including stone terraces and walls constructed during the time of the Hawaiian monarchy. Much of the garden floor was once cultivated for taro, sweet potato, and bananas, with new crops and orchards introduced by Europeans after their arrival.
Formerly known as the Waimea Valley Audubon Center and the Waimea Arboretum and Botanical Garden, the Waimea Valley is a historical nature park including botanical gardens. It is located at 59-864 Kamehameha Highway, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii and is open daily except for Christmas and New Year's Day; an admission fee is charged.
The garden was managed until 2003 by the City and County of Honolulu, when management was assumed by the National Audubon Society. In 2008, management was handed over to Hi'ipaka LLC, a non-profit company created by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
The garden now contains 35 distinct collections, representing some 5,000 taxa from around the world. It contains one of the finest collections of Polynesian plants in existence, as well as excellent collections of very rare Hawaiian plants, rare and endangered species native to Lord Howe Island, and individual gardens dedicated to plants from Guam, Madagascar, the Mascarene Islands, the Ogasawara Islands, and the Seychelles.
Other major collections include the hibiscus evolutionary garden, araceae, bauhinia, bromeliaceae, heliconia, liliaceae, as well as bamboo, begonia, ferns, tropical fruit, etc.
The garden valley is approximate 0.75 miles in length, with a small waterfall and swimming hole at the valley's high end.

This sweet side part brunette was a gift for my birthday. I wanted to reward myself with a new girl and I put out a couple of 'plea's' for anyone parting with a special Kenner to let me know. Jo responded with the amazing opportunity to adopt 'Celeste' from her collection :D
Thank you Jo I love her! I have been playing dress ups this afternoon and spent some time taking photos of her. I have been playing with her hair all night hehe holding it this way, styling in it that way.
I haven't yet decided on her name, she seems a bit shy atm. This is her very first photo just as I unopened her. she also completes my 'one of every hairstyle' collection. I'm pretty damned chuffed hey ;)

With the harlequin livery being progressively replaced, it's great to see Edinburgh buses in their 'proper' colours, just a shame they still can't run along Princes Street. Lothian Buses 765 (SN56ABV), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL, seen turning from South Charlotte Street onto Princes Street for the few yards it can run along there, with a Ford Transit Connect service van in hot pursuit.
