A knight carries spears used in a joust at this year's Michigan Renaissance Festival, near Holly, Michigan. And he's walking beside a high wooden fence for Fence Friday too. :-)

The weather forecast announced a snow storm for last night, at least my home town was not concerned. Nevertheless Winter will hopp in with temperatures significantly below zero day and night the next couple of days. Looks like real Winter shots will become reality next week. Taranaki falls tumble over the 20 metres edge of a large lava flow, which erupted from Ruapehu 15,000 years ago, then plunges into a boulder-ringed pool. From below the falls there are fabulous views into the water-worn gorges of the Wairere Stream.
Yesterday after sunset, the sky on the Moselle colored in delicately tender pink tones.

Gestern nach Sonnenuntergang färbte sich der Himmel an der Mosel in herrlich zarten Rose´-Tönen.

I climbed the icy steps of the St. Joseph Lighthouse to get different perspective of the sunset over Lake Michigan. I had to crop the image more than I wanted to because the right and lower margins didn't fare well while the pano was being constructed in Photoshop.

Sony FE 2.8/90 Macro G OSS

Bald sind die letzten Blätter von den Bäumen gefallen. Das Laub der Buchen hat schon seine schöne gelb und Rotfärbung verloren.

Sonnenberg Gardens, also known as Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park, Canandaigua, New York, USA, at the North end of Canandaigua Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. The house and gardens are open to the public every day, May through October.
I tried to be different by taking a previous POV and "framing" it. The sky reminds me of the famous scene from "Independence Day". Anyway, I hope you like it!

Not Antelope Canyon but Canyon X, only to visit as part of a guided tour (im sorry, but i have no coordinates, the area is private property).
At noon there is much indirect light on the canyon walls. In conjunction with a long exposure arising as particularly intense colors. Therefore, it is incomprehensible that the tour guides today don't allow a tripod at the photo tours.

The rising sun started to shine throug a line of trees on this cold and misty morning. The sunrays broke up the mist pretty fast and started to melt the hoar on the field.
In my previous upload you can see a glimpse of this scene through the window.
I have shot this location a number of times over the years. Today I was there at first light as the sun climbed over the hill on the other side of the river. I love the formation here and erosion that has taken a few hundred years to complete.
