Subject: Promotional poster for the membership in the Hitler Youth

This propaganda poster portrays a young boy, happy and strong. The soldier behind the boy is most likely the boy in the future as the Hitler Youth organization trained young boys to become trained soldiers. Transitioning from boy to man includes enlisting into the SS, the next step up from the Hitler Youth once one turns 18. The image shows pride in being German and a part of the organization.
