Georgia and Alabama Trip Slideshow - Spring 2016

Why would Sally and Dave spend three weeks traveling in Georgia and Alabama? Hopefully this slideshow will help to answer that question.

We flew into Atlanta, of course, and then drove north and west to Huntsville and then Florence, both in Alabama. From there we headed south to Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery.

Finally we drove across Georgia to Savannah and then back up to Atlanta.

The scenery was great and the food was wonderful. Every city and town had something different to recommend it. For us the highlights were railroads (of course), civil rights history, wildlife, and architecture (including a Frank-Lloyd Wright house museum.)
