skotjay: @emerald_city_naters In the end, I completely got the impression that she was, in fact, possessed. As the film progressed, my thoughts were that she was 1) nuts, then by the time she was in the barn doing her neck-dance 2) possessed, until the went to visit Logan in the café, then I thought she was 3) nuts because she had obviously been invited to some weird sexy-time party with bible-belters, whereby she had been used in a sexual manner by any number of miscreants, then when she had the glowy-red demon-baby, I figured she was 4a) possessed 4b) carrying a demon baby 4c) nuts because (see 4a and 4b).

child6of6the6grave: neck-dance. And yeah I guess in the end, she was REALLY possessed; but by the cult and not a mean spirit.

 

skotjay: @samnason I thought by the end that she was possessed (the cracky twisty neck dance thing, and the "question mark" yoga pose thing). I think she was probably quite crazy, too. I'm from an island in Louisiana... I don't know to many well adjusted home-schoolers, if you know what I mean...
