Somewhere between most of us and all of us (probably much closer to all) are struggling with something. The people that seem the strongest, or that seem to have everything together the best, may actually be the ones struggling the most. They seem so successful from the outside looking in, but their activity and "busyness" is sometimes a sedative to take the edge off the pain and isolation they really feel. Sometimes the drive to succeed is fueled by the desire of acquiring this thing or that thing (including people), in an effort to quench their seemingly insatiable need for acceptance and approval. I suppose the most unfortunate thing may be that these facades make people struggling with many of the same issues feel the same pain and fear. Like they alone are tarnished by their imperfections, and alone in their struggles...when in reality this is where so many of us are the most similar. There is only one Physician that can cure this ailment and He only prescribes love, grace, and forgiveness!
